The First Thing in Life is God
Growing up, all I knew about Christians was that they attended church on Sunday. Then, when I was in grade 12, I went to the USA as an exchange student. I stayed with a Christian host family and attended church with them. As I became closer to the family, something caused me to start searching for answers. Why are we born? Where do we go after death? One day, after two Christians shared the Gospel with me, I believed in Jesus. I was baptized two weeks later.
I began spending hours at a time reading the Bible and, once I returned to Thailand, also began attending a local church. My mother was worried that I was not using my time well. She thought I should be studying for the university entrance exams. When I passed all of the exams, my mother became more open to Christ. Later, as she continued to see the positive changes in my life, she also accepted Christ. My goal is to see my father and siblings come to know God as well. Two verses I use everyday are Matthew 6:33 and Philippines 1:21. Both verses urge us to let God be the first thing in our life and to imitate Him. I trust God in everything and know that He will take care of me. Thai testimonies Click.
